Policies and Fees
Dogs not picked up 10 minutes after the posted closing time will be charged a $10 late fee. If we have not been contacted by that time, we will prepare a kennel for an overnight stay. If your dog has not been picked up 30 minutes after closing, he or she will be boarded overnight and you will be charged for overnight boarding and a $10 kennel setup fee in addition to the $10 late fee.
Please contact us before we close if you know you’ll be late. We understand situations arise and we will try to work with you.
Spay and Neuter Fee**
As of April 2023 if your dog is not Neutered or Spayed we will be charging an additional $6.50 per day. This applies to both Boarding and Daycare. Due to an increase in hormone levels, behavioral changes do occur. If we notice negative behavioral traits we will call and ask for a pick up and not allow future booking until spaying or neutering your pet. A follow up evaluation must take place to continue with booking. Our first goal is safety at Ocoee Dogs, thank you for understanding.
We require All Vaccine records to be up to date and accurate to your pet. We understand Bordetella can be missed or unavailable. We require dogs in group play to have Bordetella and will keep your Dog separated For a charge of $10. We will sterilize the environment around them throughout the day to protect others from potentially being in contact with a possible Bordetella Strain. Thank you for understanding.
Veterinarian Care
If at anytime your dog needs veterinarian attention or medicine prescribed, we will always contact you or your emergency contact to inform of said visit and take your dog to be assessed and or treated. It is not typical that we have visits to the vet therefore it is very important that any preexisting health conditions be brought to our attention, along with Contact info and name of the veterinarian you use
We will pay the Vet bill at the time of Vet visit and charge to the boarding bill at pick up.
If it is a preexisting issue that you have not addressed or told us about, or is not being medicated, we will add a $120 Fuel/Time/Resources compensation fee on top of medical expenses and have a Vet do a write up report.
